An intense earthquake struck the southeastern part of Turkey near the Syrian border. This natural catastrophe has left behind a trail of destruction and tragedy. Till now, more than 2,600 casualties have been recorded. In fact, World Health Organization suggest that the death toll may rise significantly. According to them, casualties could soar up to eight times higher.
